Save the video and audio a page plays, when the file can be saved.

Lataaka notices the media files a page loads, shows their quality, length and size, and saves them as normal files. It is honest about what cannot be saved.

How it works

  1. Play or scan

Open the page and press Scan. Media that plays later appears when it starts.

  2. Pick the quality

When a page offers several qualities, choose the one you want.

  3. Save

Lataaka saves the file, or joins the pieces of a stream into one file when the page allows it.

What it can save

Video and audio files the page plays in a form that can be saved: plain files and unprotected streams made of pieces.

  • Several qualities, when the page offers them
  • Length, size and format before you save
  • Audio files and audio tracks

What it does not save

DRM protected media, live streams and paid streaming services. Lataaka shows these as not available and never tries to break or bypass any protection.

Lataaka is a tool. You are responsible for what you save and need the right to use it. Read the terms

Questions

Why is a video marked as not available?

It is protected with DRM, it is a live stream, or the site does not allow saving it. Lataaka does not bypass protection.

Does it work on every video site?

No. It works with files a page plays in a form that can be saved. Many big services protect their streams, and those cannot be saved.

Can I share the videos I save?

Only if you have the right to. Lataaka is a tool, you are responsible for what you save and how you use it.
